From February, through the kind hospitality of the parish priest and church council, we shall meet for worship in the Lady Chapel at the church of St Cross, Clayton, easily accessible from the city centre. Details of how to find us are below:
The Clayton Hall tram stop is directly outside the church. This is in Zone 2, on the Ashton-under-Lyne - Eccles/Media City lines (the orange and turquoise lines here). The journey time from Piccadilly Gardens is approximately 15 minutes.
A number of bus services stop directly outside the church. Ask the driver for Clayton Hall Tram. For journey times, a view of the route on Google Maps, and a downloadable timetable, please enter the relevant bus number in the "Live Departure Times" field here. All services are operated by Stagecoach Manchester.
Buses 216 and 231 from the city centre to Ashton-under-Lyne depart from Piccadilly*, outside Travelodge and the Nationwide Building Society. The journey time from Piccadilly is between 10 and 15 minutes.
*i.e. the road Piccadilly; not Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station.
Buses 171 and 172 run between Newton Heath and East Didbury/Withington Hospital, and stop directly outside the church.
St Cross church is on Ashton New Road and has the postcode M11 4SG.
