Remember! If you are a UK taxpayer, you can choose the Gift Aid option. This will allow the government to give us back the tax paid on your donation at a rate of 25%. This means that for a donation of £10.00, for example, we would receive £12.50 without it costing you a penny more.
Do you shop online? Without paying anything extra, you can raise funds for our church through your usual purchases (from Amazon, Tesco, Ebay, Argos, Just Eat, Currys PC World, and thousands more) by using the Easyfundraising website or mobile app. You buy from your usual companies and they make a donation to our church.
Would you consider doing a sponsored activity in aid of church funds - a sponsored walk/run/cycle, an abseil, or maybe even something as adventurous as a skydive? If so, please let us know. Our church is registered with the Givey donation platform, where you can set up a fundraiser page and begin to drum up interest in, and get sponsorship for, your event.
Some of the better-known donation platforms are notorious for the fees they take from donations to charities. By contrast Givey allows your sponsors to make donations without us being charged any fees.
