Changes to Services

Developments in the life of our parish mean that there will be a number of changes to our regular pattern of worship. With immediate effect:

  • The office of Vespers will continue to be prayed on Saturday evenings once or twice each month, but will now be at the earlier time of 5pm.
  • The Divine Liturgy on Sundays will once again be celebrated in the morning, which means that the office of Lauds will also return to our cycle of worship. Sunday Lauds will be prayed at 10am, with the Divine Liturgy following immediately.
  • When they occur on weekdays, feasts will be celebrated with Vespers and the Divine Liturgy at the slightly earlier time of 7pm.
  • Feasts on Saturdays will continue to be celebrated at 10am with Lauds and the Divine Liturgy.
